Title: October 23, 2021 -- TRAFALGAR for "Kiss Me, Hardy!"

Couple things:

1.  This is a big battle.  Trust me you.

2.  I need folks who know their TTS.  I really like KMH, but like a lot of naval rules, it's got a bit of fiddle to it.

And there's a bunch of commands, so...

Who's in?

1800 CDT, but we'll be running "hard stops" each session because, frankly, this is going to take a few.

Athletic Reversse Raffle is that night.  Food, free drinks, and change to win $$$$$.  Better chance to spend $$$$$.   :groovy:

And yes, I will miss playing KMH very much.

I put on my schedule from now, I'll be there, just let me know the time the games begin.
Now I'm live in French but I could get Spanish Armada if needed  :) (I do understand spanish sailors' "cockney")  ;D

First time I've read through these rules. They are nice. Similar of course to other rule sets (rightfully so, checks off most of the main rulings in other age of sail rules sets), but some unique rolling methods and seems easy to execute the otherwise relatively detailed rules. Looks solid. I think the aspect we'll need to get used to the quickest is the card-based move or fire (and potentially some other special cards mixed in), and the fact that you can hold the fire back. I look forward to playing them.

My son has had to shift when he is coming home from college to this weekend, so I, unfortunately, will not be able to play Saturday night. I am bummed, but then again, of course, happy he is coming home for a bit.

I will confess I'm usually the guy that's not happy at the picnic until the ants he predicted show up...at least with big games.

This one surprised me.

A really great time with four fine fellow, a lot of sailing about -- pity poor Admiral Dalinore -- and even some ships set ablaze.

For those who missed, there are seats available for next Saturday night.  I'll post early in the week.
