I think this is the cheapest I've seen it. I've always been tempted, but the bad reviews scares me away!

It's probably worth it at that price, but I think you'd be much happier with Ward of Succession at $19.99. Uses the Wars of Napoleon engine update, but without all of the tech tree and diplomacy cruft that broke the earlier game.

I would say that WSS is the best game AGEOD has ever produced, and, given where Slitherine in forcing them with their new engine, possibly the last decent one they'll ever produce.

I actually don't really like games.

WoN may be cheaper at steam...
Having almost all Ageod titles, playing WoN is the most enjoyable i can say as a 7 player pbem. There are 8 games going on now at TWC intensively. Quite a good game. We use the Public Beta patch 1.03 February 24th - 2017.

On the forum post I read, I thought it said Steam was non beta only. I uninstalled and downloaded stand alone from Matrix, will install and patch later.

Indeed.
If you want a 7 player WON pbem sometime let me know, sometimes we at TWC look for replacement players as games are soooo long, takes months even years ^^ people from time to time get exhausted and drop lol

No Tuna, it is going on. A player allied to Prussia is playing it for now.. It is turn #28 so just it is so new. But someone took the seat this morning i guess i have to check again.

A seat in games becomes available from time to time so no harm, we can talk when you arrive to
