This weekend I'm finishing up clipping the counters for Cataclysm so I can get it to the table. Also, more Gloomhaven.

Terrible head cold all week but I did manage to read the base rules for GMT’s Battles of the American revolution.  Also played a game of Mysterium with the family. It’s like cross between Clue and Dixit. I don’t get it but kids love Dixit and really liked this one too. The deal, with the oldest was we play Mysterium tonight and tomorrow we play Sekigahara.

I managed to get in a little quality time with an 'oldie' over the weekend, Neverwinter Nights 2: The Storm of Zehir. I'd forgotten I even still had this one on my hard drive. The old girl still holds up pretty well too and.... it's AD&D, so.... :D   Nothing like baking a lot of trolls with a big-ass Fireball spell.  :bigthumb:

When I was in Wisconsin last weekend, my friend and I got in some precious D&D time, resuming one of our (long-stagnant) campaigns.  We also introduced the game to a new co-worker she's becoming friends with, and she had a blast.  Watching her get into the campaign was almost more fun than us playing it.  :)

For this weekend, I'm hoping to get some time in on the new Master of Orion (with mods), Pillars of Eternity, and/or possibly Warhammer 40K: Gladius (still haven't played that one much yet).

The local gaming group is going to give the Modiphius Fallout minis game a spin tonight. Not something I'm really into much, but my buddy bought a ton of stuff through the pre-order. He's a helluva painter so it will all look super cool. Will get some pics to share.

A also bought Elder Scrolls Morrowind from GoG and am going to through some mods on it and give that a look. I have an old Xbox copy in the collection, but I never really got far with on XB.

I'll be playing some more SpaceCorp 2025-2300 AD this weekend, though Saturday I'm busy all day doing a staged reading of a play.

A little Pillars 2 to start out the weekend. Anybody got a really, large shoe I can borrow?

Been playing Pillars II myself but I keep getting lock-ups that require me to reboot my PC.  Not sure what's causing it as my machine exceeds all the recommended specs.  I've tried lowering settings but just had another lock up.

A Stalingrad ASL scenario from today's gaming with the local club.  For all the firing that happened in the photo, not much damage was done, but those stone buildings offer good protection.  I wound up barely losing on the second-to-last fire attack on the last turn.

I’ve spent half my life’s earning on wargames, women, and drink. The rest I wasted.
