And another game for Solosaurus review is Aliens: Another Glorious Day in the Corps (https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/256852/aliens-another-glorious-day-corps).
We'll just be reviewing the base game, but there are two expansions for this - Ultimate Badasses (https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgameexpansion/313532/aliens-ultimate-badasses) and Get Away From Her, You B***H! (https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/313533/aliens-get-away-her-you-bh) (asterisks from title, not any softening on my part).
I've put together the pieces and read through the rulebook and have to say, this is everything (at least, it seems that way, so far) that a fan of the Aliens franchise could want, thematically.
Though, cutting dozens upon dozens of tiny plastic pieces off of five sprue sheets and then having to glue them together is NOT fun. Took me a few hours to do that. And the peeps over on this game's FB page have gone to enormous effort to paint the things too, and have done some fantastic work. Still, I'd have been willing as a consumer to pay more money for mini figures for this game. Or, you could just use the pieces from AVP, which I unfortunately no longer have (those minis were extraordinary).
@SDR, I'm guessing you have this base and expansions, amiright? ;D If so, you play it yet?
