Well, golly.

I have to say, between this and Star Trek Adventures, Modiphius is making it very difficult to not give them my money.

I was a kickstarter backer. As usual with Modi, the design quality is top notch! The rules are cool in that they offer anything from individual character interaction to large scale empire management.
Some stuff obviously is abstracted a lot, otherwise you'd need several large tomes.

Not completely sold on the mechanics as they stand currently, but the book looks nice and offers quite some lore about the setting, so all in all happy with my purchase. I expect more books to follow, straightening some wrinkles and expanding rules and features.
The 2d20 is a very solid foundation regardless. One of my favorite systems.
