I may be too, but the Battle of Wagram was HUGE, I think. And "HUGE" is an understatement. Close to 150,000 or so soldiers per side, probably about 500 guns per side too.

Replicating that in 12mm would be...well, it would probably take you 20 years to set up.

Unless I underestimate my Napoleonics-loving brethren...

Try the first 10 minutes or so...

P.s. I could have sworn Warlord's epic ACW were 13mm.

P.p.s. Think they'll let you do Leipzig?

Wagram is such a huge battle that it can be hard to get your mind around all of it.
My fave anecdote is on the evening of the first day.  The French are Attacking the Line of the Russbach stream.  To stabilize the situation, archduke Karl shows up with a regiment of chevauxleger light cavalry and. Scatters the Saxon and French.  His presence was a great morale boost, much like at Aspern-Esling when he grabbed the flag of the Zach grenadiers.
However, that's not what an army commander should be doing.  That's a task for a cavalry brigadier.

And as an epileptic, it may have caused a lethargy the following day.  Some accounts say that his two senior staff, Wimpfen and Grunne, actually ran the army.

As Mcguire said it is an In-joke for those who caught Jim's rant on the probe into Fontenay video

i Keep trying to get Jim to play Leipzig on TTS using the Lasalle 2 rules, only because i want to watch the Dice fountain

On a non-sarcastic note: Warlord is releasing Waterloo as an epic battle system under which they previously released an American Civil War game. I am not sure about the scale but it looks to be 10mm or less.

It's 12mm, which is where the joke is from Jim's rant on the video the other day.
