I have the new mounted map out for some flattening treatment at the moment. Is a thing of beauty imho.
I have watched some utube tutorials and figured out my counter sorting scheme. Not much to punch, which is a bonus. Now, basically just the rulebook to contend with

First, Barthheart posts a Federation and Empire picture and now this. Both games are currently on my short list of potential 'monster game' playthroughs for My Own Worst Enemy.

Y'all on drugs, lol. I did preorder this but came to my senses and cancelled the order. But hey, if you have room and time for it, more power to you! :)
I'd love to be on those drugs, though. What a nice-looking game. :notworthy:
Also love the placement of Panzerkrieg. I love Jason D. Mark's books on Stalingrad! I own a few of them now.

I'm using panzerkrieg and the EotS box to iron out some bumps in the board. Several more books were in the pile a couple of days back. This is the biggest reason I prefer paper maps over mounted...no warping.
I read Panzerkrieg last summer and can highly recommend. Three books in one really, it follows the fate of 3 panzer battalions which were destroyed in Stalingrad. Jason D. Mark is easily my favorite history writer of the day.

The map isn't that big for EotS...only standard 22" x 34" iirc.

And yes, JD bought a new copy of a game he already owned!
