Just forget I mentioned it....no one would believe me anyway  8)

Somewhere, somehow, I woke up in the wrong timeline. I'm pretty sure this isn't even my dimension.

I go back & forth on this game so much.  I see a lot of things I like, some things not so much, and other things I'm just not sure what to make of.  Ultimately, though, I know the fact that Humankind is being developed by Amplitude will cause me wait a long time before I even think about buying this, no matter how much it might appeal to me.  :-\

What I’ve played of it so far I think it’s a good game... not great yet but a good solid game.
It’s very different from Civ and so has taken me some getting used to it.
The mixing of cultures is so different, and there are so many combinations, that just that aspect is, for me, the hardest aspect to get a grip on.
Very much looking forward to the full release and I know Amplitude will support the game for a long time.

What are exactly the advantages of preordering.

Not much other than getting to play all the pre-lease stuff.

Does anyone know if you can customize the eras you play through? If I want the medieval era to be my ultimate era, can I do that?
