Tried playing a bit of Crusade in Europe yesterday after I got home, but the controls had me stymied. The text file is no help, it's more of a long treatise on the programming code used in the game and pretty damned boring.

Must I do everything around here?

Meh, I figured the instructions were somewhere around the Internet. I've played a few iterations of this game before and sometimes, though, the key mapping is off. I didn't have time to check it out.
