The Crimson Skies game was pretty good IIRC

yeah, great game. Original Xbox, but probably playable on 360.

What's the size of the hard drive? You may want to buy a bigger one. Again, check Gamestop for inexpensive used ones.

I don't have any way of checking the size until I have a controller, unless I can find out by googling the serial number against some list. I'll try that later. What's the minimum acceptable size?

I forgot about that game. IIRC, it started as a paper RPG, no? I have it for the PC (somewhere...). Is the xbox version better?

It may have a 20GB drive and that fills up fast just from system and game files. You can get a refurbed 250GB drive from gamestop for $20 or a 120GB for $10.

Tabletop game, but not strictly an RPG.  More like Battletech for single-vehicle figs & multi-fig battles.

Question answered. There is no hard drive. It was external and must have been removed. To Gamestop I go...

Find out what the return policy is on refurbed hardware. It'd suck if you put another $10-20 into the thing and found out something was wrong with it.

Gamestop's is 7 days return/30 days exchange for same. I ordered a controller at the same time. Wish me luck...
