Over the last few years, I have watched a wide variety of soccer.  While the vast majority of those calling matches certainly get excited when a goal is scored, it has been my experience that those announcers from Latin countries are the only ones who use that particular affectation for calling goals.  Honestly, I thought it was just kind of someone's idea of a joke until I was watching a match between two clubs in Mexico.  After a goal was called, you heard the announcer take a good breath and launch into it.  I heard the same call again while watching CONCACAF qualifiers earlier this year.  It's actually pretty great and certainly adds an extra layer of excitement and satisfaction.
