Anyone given this a bash
I’m following a few how to videos and it looks great - much deeper than I thought, kind of dominions kind of fallen enchantress
It’s a single developer and the biggest complaint so far is the lack of guidance or tips on screen - for example make a follower an advisor but there’s no tip tool to tell you why or the benefits but it’s still been worked on

How about a link, old chum? ;)
-
https://store.steampowered.com/app/567080/Wizards_and_Warlords/
-
Ta! I was too idle to find it myself ;)
-
That one is on my Wishlist but the map graphics and low price have kept me from buying it.
-
So...... you’re waiting for it to get more expensive before you buy?
-
No, these lower priced games worry me about their quality. Makes me think it's just a cash grab.
-
Looks like a low-res version of Warlock and Warlock II.
Not saying it's bad, just old school.
-
Deffo old school - content and imagination
I once got stuck at a conference with a laptop only powerful enough to run dwarf fortress - disappeared down an old school hole for 2 weeks and loved it
-
Warlock II is such a good game.
Pumpkin Farms, 'Geek - the key to winning!
shhhhh, keep that to yourself, mind ;)

Same here. Not that I have any real objection to the price, but I admit I have a hard time getting past those visuals.
It also seems like a menu-heavy game, requiring a lot of clicking. By itself it's not a deal-killer, but it does make me a bit hesitant.
