NatGeo put together an 80s mini-series a few years ago, and I've been rematching it from when I DVR'ed around the holidays

It's way better than I expected it to be.  Track it down and watch if you can find it

I should probably watch that since the 80s were a black hole for me.  I was in college from 1979 through 1987.  My first daughter was born in 1986, and my second was born in 1989.  I was either hitting the books or changing diapers.

I’ve spent half my life’s earning on wargames, women, and drink. The rest I wasted.

Technically, it was the 60s that made me.

I graduated HS when the decade started and entered adult life with all of it's hard work, hard fun, and romantic free-fire zones so I'm somewhat afraid to climb down that rabbit hole for fear I'll never come back out.

The 80's! Back when men were men, women were women, and you could tell the difference.   :dreamer:

My best decade was from the mid 1960's to the mid 1970's.

There was a documentary on Netflix about Twisted Sister that was freakin' amazing. It does a lot to explain why bands dressed up like this - mostly to be outrageous and to gain a name for themselves.

I gradumacated high school in 1987 and my first attempt at college was 1987-1989. Had several more attempts before I finally was done getting degrees by 2005. ;D
