While I'm not exactly thrilled about the delay either, the release of Distant Worlds 2 and Warhammer 3 (not to mentioned the aforementioned Superpower 3) are object lessons in what happens when a game gets released too soon.  I am content to wait.

I've been burning through games lately, retrying ones that I've left behind for a long while and have uninstalled 4-5 in the last few days that just didn't grab me outright or I have lost interest in after being away from them for too long. Even though there's no release date here for KoH2, the post has bolstered my flagging gaming mojo.

This might cheer you up a bit further:  The devs just posted another video showing off the game -- they start talking around the 3:00 mark, and actual game footage begins around the 11:00 mark:

Yes, it's Twitch and not YouTube, which kinda sucks.  But the one dev drops an interesting tidbit around the 8:00 mark, where he hints they'll be announcing the release date soon, and that it's probably going to be much sooner than folks are anticipating.  I'm wondering if that means KoH2 is still coming this year after all?  I don't know if I dare hope...
