Scourge of War is returning on Steam. The blurb says many features have been tightened up.

The big problem with the original was the constant auto-change of facing, and units doing the conga! It had its good points, though.

maybe that's part of what got fixed?
although seeing units doing the conga would be HIL-arious :groovy:

..not when they were yours............

Agreed. Digital soldiers should only dance after winning a battle, or on the King's/Emperor's birthday. An occasional brief jig after repelling a cavalry charge is allowed, like this... :groovy:

do we know if this is one of the features that was tightened up?

No idea <shrug>

I remember this game, it had a lot of problems as I recall but did look promising. If they've fixed it up could be a winner. Bob, did you ever play Napoleon Total War and if you did, what'd you think of it?
-
No, I did not play that. Its generally not a period that I have much interest in. The Shogun games are still my favourites in the series, especially Fall of the Samurai.
-
Mine too. NTW With the Darthmod was pretty good, though not really Napoleonic, it wasn't bad. I managed to win the campaign as Britain though I got Wellington killed in his very first battle.
