I was tempted - until I saw it was a 4 mapper. No space for one map let alone 4!

If it was a 4 mapper but only one used at any time, I would've bought by now.

My Matrix/Slitherine anniversary coupon showed up yesterday, so I allowed myself to go a little nuts (well okay, more so).  :D  Here's what I grabbed:

Astra Exodus
Battlestar Galactica Deadlock: Ghost Fleet Offensive
Field of Glory: Empires - Persia
Shadow Empire
Warhammer 40,000: Gladius - Tau

It's easily the most games I've made in a single purchase in years, but the opportunity to get them all for half-off (especially when they're all newer/more recent titles) was too good to pass up!  Looking forward to giving them all a spin, but Shadow Empire definitely tops the list.

Fanatical has a big flash sale going one right now.  It includes $9.99 for Battlestar Galactica Deadlock (just 1 hour left!) and $8.99 for Distant Worlds: Universe (21 hours left).

Too big  :'(

I backed the P500 and gotta say you're right, though there are a couple of the five scenarios that will fit my table. Barely.

It looks very impressive, in line with all the other games in that 'series'.

That's a fantastic price, though.

GOG just launched a sale on Paradox titles, with some pretty decent prices on most of their games.

They're also giving away EU2 for free, for anyone who's interested.  :)

EU2 is still my favourite of the series. But I lost the disc some to ago. So I grabbed the free copy when the email hit my box.  :bigthumb:

I thought I had one of the EU games already, but I did not. I think I'm thinking of one of the older CK games which I had a blast writing about back in the Wger days. So yeah I grabbed it too. As well as the nurse's bum while she was trying to give me my meds. What day is it again?

I think the very first games I downloaded from a 'professionally curated' games publisher site were EU and  EU: Crown of the North. That was a long time and a lot of water under the bridge ago.

Incidentally, I just noticed that Europa Universalis IV is free to play on Steam through October 26.  A pity I've already purchased the game.  ::)  :-[
