Nice list, though I'm surprised none of the D&D board games are on there. Maybe even Descent. Or Dungeon!, for that matter. Probably too simplistic that last one, but it gets you in the mindset of a dungeon-crawler.
The list could go on and on. A lot of those I've never heard of.

^Same here, not heard of most of 'em, but I am surprised that 'Descent' is not there.

I think Descent and Runebound are missing because, like almost everything else from FFG, you measure the playing time in weeks instead of minutes/hours

If Gloomhaven isn't THE gateway drug to TTRPGs, I don't know what is.

The daughter and I should be kicking off our own Gloomhaven campaign this weekend. Finally, after owning the game for about a year now.
-
The wife and I recently realized that we actually completed the main campaign a while back. It was kind of disappointing. We've decided to just keep going and unlocking the remaining character classes. We still have the expansion waiting for us after that.

And Frosthaven is set to kickstarter next year, I believe. :)

Talking about the PC version of Gloomhaven, which looks nice, but has been getting some very mixed reviews.

Yeah, I've seen that, but just on general principle have been staying away from it. I can't justify buying a computer game version of a $100+ board game I own. I'd MUCH rather play the board game itself and have that tactile feedback.

I'd MUCH rather complain about the lack of opportunity to play the board game itself and have that sarcastic ACD feedback.

Another very large, expensive, box full of goodies with lovely figures that just ain't ever gonna get painted.
