Definitely more Civilization 6. I also might go back to Field of Glory II. Still learning the rules to GMT's Cataclysm. On the table I hope to finally try Rise of Tribes.
-
Minis gaming with the regular group tonight - Battle of Lutzen using the Baroque rules.
Going to my buddy's Bolt Action league tomorrow. Don't plan on playing, just going to check it out and support my buddy.
Probably some Red Dead on Sunday.

I'm in a gaming funk at present for some reason; on the table by my PC is 'Rommel's War' and 'Slouch Hats and Eggshells', neither of which have had the table time they deserve.
May get to do a bit on 'Elite dangerous' as I now have sufficient credits saved to trade in my Python for an Anaconda, and still have enough cash to beef it up a bit.
-
I wish I could play me some Red Dead. :(

Still have Medieval on the table... un-learned.... :buck2:
Been playing around with the Decisive Campaign series of games again. I really like the way these games play out and behave in a historically plausible manor. Great fun. Currently invading the Low countries and France.

I have the Warsaw / Paris one, but have not played it for a long time. It is a nice system though.

Cranked it up last night and found there was a new update from Feb. 2018! The game was released in 2010!! Vic has built a great series of games and keeps updating them. It was great fun being on the Alpha and Beta test crew for Warsaw to Paris.

My copy was actually given to me by JD a long time ago. Since then, and following a problem where my HD died and had to be replaced, .I've not re-installed it, and I suspect I have also lost the activation code. I wouldn't mind having a go at the Barbarossa game, I will admit, although its a bit pricey.
-
You can get yer activation key from Matrix games... it is registered there right?
DC: Barbarossa is a fantastic game and worth every penny. There really is no other gaming experience like it.
Get it during the Christmas sale, or with yer anniversary code.
-
Yeah, it definitely was registered with them. I just found in the past that getting answers from their help desk was a waste of time. maybe I should make the effort again. I hear you re the Barbarossa game - I have a Birthday and Christmas on the way so maybe it'll go on my list - in fact, it may constitute my list :-)
-
If you registered it with them the serial # should be in your account. They store the serials for you now.
-
Yeah, I've just been a lazy bum - I should get it done.
-
You don't have to talk to the help desk. Just log in and go to "My Serial Numbers". All yer Matrix games will be there.

Yep. This is what I meant.

Just been trying that, and, as usual, it says it does not recognise my account name even though I actually have in written down in my little book! I had the same issue with them before. I gave up in frustration.

Bob, try your username with "_wargamer" at the end. Example: bob_wargamer. That's what happened to me and it drove me crazy. I finally found out through their support that it happened during their transition to one login system.

I'll give it go! Thanks, Mike.
