It’s a gothic looking 4x game where you’re goal is to use your agents against the AI to prepare the way for you to unleash a demonic god onto the enemy - you choose a variety of agents the courtier, the trickster, the vampire etc to use either subterfuge or brute force to turn the enemy against themselves and generally cause unhappiness and chaos whilst you walk away chuckling to yourself

Dastactic is playing thru it at the moment - it’s one of those single developer crap graphics awesome depth games that pops up now and again
I’m torn - I think the concept and the game idea is amazing, it has 9/10 on steam and nearly pressed the button - I just need to watch the rest of das - there are some reviews that say there isn’t enough to do - every time your agents infiltrate somewhere or cause mayhem they receive a score that basically reveals there underhandedness on the map - I guess to stop you performing game winning tasks every turn but then you spend a lot of time waiting and hiding waiting for that reveal score to come back down again

Hmm. Not quite sure what to make of that. may be worth looking at the demo, though.

I tried the demo a while back. I remember clicking end turn a lot...

Not usually a good sign ;)

that appears to be the main issue with the nay sayers whereas Das - a reliable source of info is head over heels with it

Yeah I'm sure it would be a great game for the right person, and it's certainly original, I'll give it that.

Have to give them credit for a great name, however. Catchy.

Looks like it's probably not quite my cup of tea, but I appreciate that they're taking a slightly different approach to the genre, especially fantasy 4x. We can always use more of that. 8)

Agreed!

I've already decided that this one is off my list.
