Great price for the game.  It's a lot of fun and has more depth to it than you might expect.  Z-axis, Newtonian physics with vectored thrusts and inertia, Cylons doing micro-jumps around the map, and the minis are excellent.  (actually, all the components are top notch.)

The minis do look awesome.

Can't say I've seen discounts on Compass on CoolStuff, but I have seen their stuff discounted on Miniature Market. I think even once or twice on their daily drop.

I wasn't necessarily going to buy it, even though it's right in my wheelhouse. I just happened to see it at the store yesterday

I was there specifically to make a smaller purchase just to help keep the store in business, but that doesn't count as a smaller purchase
