So yeah, dice. Dice. DICE! Yes, we spend an entire episode talking about dice. What are the weird ones you’ve got? What are your favorites? What are the ones you’ve had forever? Which dice did you hate? How often do you change them out? How many did you pilfer from someone’s copy of Risk? Random dice tables transposed onto the dice themselves? Baby polyhedrals for all your baby polyhedral needs?
Don’t forget, you can always catch up with past episodes on the “podcast” tab of our site.
Yep, we talk about the advent calendars from Black Oak Workshop (and they have a new batch on Kickstarter right now*!), the mugs of dice that Chessex used to let you scoop at Origins, Gamescience warranty cards, and stealing the dice from Dad’s copy of Paydirt** just because they were ‘different’. How do you store them? How (if at all) do you display them? How many dice are in a pound of dice if you get metal ones instead of plastic? Hell, we ran out of time to talk about collectible dice games (probably a good thing, too).
* we promise we didn’t plan this, but it’s a pretty good coincidence, no?
** we looked it up so Tolstoi didn’t go nuts trying to figure it out for his listener’s guide.
