Yes, this just missed #UnboxingDay, but it’s hot off the presses, and we didn’t want Catastrophe Games to have to wait a whole month to see us show it off.
The USS Laffey managed to fight in both theaters of WW2, and today is docked in Charleston, SC, at Patriot’s Point, where you can also visit the USS Yorktown, the USS Clamagore, and other naval exhibits. Most famous for fighting off a relentless assault off of Okinawa that included 6 kamikazes planes crashing into her.
