Mentioned in Dispatches Season 8 Ep 9 ~ Distant Worlds 2 & Other Space 4X-iness

1 April 2022 ~

Distant Worlds 2 has finally released, and our guys have been all over it.  The space 4X crew has been waiting for this game for quite some time, and now it’s here and they have some strong thoughts on it.  So here’s Sam, and eventually, Bryan too, to talk about the latest offering from Matrix Games and whether or not it lives up to the hype.

Don’t forget, you can always catch up with past episodes on the “podcast” tab of our site.

Along the way, we talk about hockey, biscuits, Stellaris, space hamsters, happy hour, playing games from your front porch, barbarian pirates, Street Fighter, and staring at waterfalls.  As usual, we completely made up one of those, and you get to listen to figure out which one.  Sooner or later we’re going to start quizing people on these.

We’re still a few reviews short of iTunes recommending us in their podcast engine, and every rating helps.  Thanks!
