Barbarians everywhere last time, but also The Pyramids

C’mon Back.
We know there’s nothing on that peninsula, so come back where you’re useful.
In case you’re wondering what the full 3d view of the game would look like, here’s my capital with The Pyramids in the back left, my Nubian Pyramid up front, and the damaged cornfields in the back right with the workers about to go to town on them. The salt mines are behind the city.
“North of Canada, West of Buenos Aires.”
is a statement that only makes sense in the context of a Civ game
But yes, we do have a lot of troops near their no-longer-open borders, so let’s back off a bit, eh?
That city-state boat that just floated up is from someone we hadn’t met.
We’ve met a new city-state!
It’s across the sea, where I can’t get to yet because I’ve got no boats in the water, but there’s also another civ over there somewhere nearby because their diplomatic governor is already there.
If I mouse over the governor’s faded portrait, it tells me this.
With my worker on my damaged fields, I can hit the “repair” icon – the wrench on the bottom right – to clean up the mess.
All better.
He was just chilling and healing, but because he’s adjacent to a Canadian border, I need to move him.
So let’s move him 1 hex away and then put him back into fortify-until-healed mode.
Need to move this guy away from any borders, too. I’m going to roll the dice and automate him, though (bottom right again).
Adjacent to my capital is a furs resource, and because I have several of those improved, I now have the option t build an “industry” on that space – basically a super-improvement – so we’re going to move our builder over that way
I can now work with iron.
I want as much of the map revealed as possible.
Now get back to scouting and go open up the map over that way, please.
The map around Georgia is pretty clear, and they’re not really any more numerous than I am. There’s a couple of mountain ranges hemming them in, but those ranges are also keeping the Canadians at bay further South, too.
Let’s see what we can build when we get serious about building
CIVILIZATION 6 NUBIA AAR
